Book on THIS PAGE for your spot in our yoga retreat (USD), we are accepting a deposit of $150 USD to save a spot, this deposit is non-refundable. $350 USD will be due 1 month before the retreat (June 2, 2018).

The accommodations (including all food/wine) are paid separately to Hameau de L'Etoile. We will email them directly for you once you have made your deposit. It is not necessary to pay anything upfront for Hameau de L'Etoile, they will charge you when you check in on July 2, 2018. Please visit their website to see the list of accommodations available.

Retreat description:

Spend an incredible 4 nights with us at Hameau de L'Etoile, in the Montpellier area of the South of France.

What's included when you book with us:

-Yoga and activities twice per day. In the morning we will have an energizing vinyasa practice. In the afternoon, we will have a relaxing practice that changes daily, with some surprises along the way.

-Group pick up (July 2) and group drop off (July 6) transfers to Montpellier airport or Montpellier train station.

-The absolute best adventures in the surrounding areas, think beaches, provincial towns, the most beautiful vineyards in the South of France.

-Ukulele lessons with Fred (option to purchase ukulele, I am so happy to have my little yellow one!)

-Sing-a-longs to Fred's beautiful guitar

-Meditation in the meditation garden

-Meditative walk in the mindful labrynth

What's included when you book accommodations at Hameau de L'Etoile:

-Stays at the Hameau include "all-inclusive" full board meals. As a rule, we serve buffets during the day and table service during the evening: breakfast, lunch, dinner + two snacks at 10am and 4pm (tea, coffee, herbal tea, squash, homemade cake and fresh fruit) – Unlimited rosé and red wines are served at meal times. Vegetarian and traditional dishes available (please inform us of your requirements in advance).

-Use of the grounds and facilities, including library and outdoor lap pool (it's 25m! I love this pool)

About us:

Genieve started her fitness career as a spinning instructor and conditioning specialist while completing her education at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. She moved to Vancouver in 2006 and fell in love with the outdoors, taking up running half marathons and completing her Yoga teacher training. She continues to be actively involved in the Vancouver fitness community, from ballet to boxing.
Her love of chiropractic and Yoga allowed her to combine the two disciplines by teaching Yoga teacher trainings and yoga retreats internationally. She also works with non-profit organizations such as Karma Teachers, BC Cancer Foundation and the The Dance Centre in Vancouver.
Genieve is passionate about spreading wellness through nutrition, movement and Yoga.

Genieve débute sa carrière dans le monde du fitness en tant que professeur de Spinning et spécialiste du conditionnement pendant ses études au Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College à Toronto. Arrivée à Vancouver en 2006, elle tombe instantanément amoureuse du style de vie local tourné vers les activités en extérieur, commençant ainsi à courir des demi-marathons et suivant une formation de professeur de Yoga. Annedi is a professional journalist and a graduate from Karma Teachers 200-hour Yoga teacher training in Vancouver, BC. Originally from Paris, she studied journalism in the French capital as well as in New York city where she discovered Yoga. Back in France, she started to intensify her practice exploring Pilates, running and aquabiking. She also has a 10-year background in ballet and modern jazz, as well as a 8-year background in swimming.
Looking for a better lifestyle far from the Parisian stress and the media industry, she moved to the Canadian West Coast in 2014 where she reconnected with Yoga. She is now teaching a weekly hatha flow class at Karma Teachers and also offers private sessions in English or French.
Annedi is passionate about environmental issues, nature and cares about contributing to a sustainable world. She is now pursuing her two careers as one, finding balance and interdependence in it.

Annedi est une journaliste professionnelle diplômée d’une formation de 200h d’enseignement du Yoga reçue à Karma Teachers Vancouver. Originaire de Paris, elle a suivi des études de journalisme dans la capitale française ainsi qu’à New York où elle a découvert le Yoga. De retour en France, elle a commencé à intensifier sa pratique en explorant le Pilates, la course et l’aquabiking. Plus jeune, elle a pratiqué la natation pendant huit ans et la danse, classique et modern jazz, pendant dix ans.
Voulant adopter un meilleur style de vie loin du stress parisien et du monde des médias, elle déménage sur la côte ouest canadienne en 2014 et renoue avec le yoga qu’elle enseigne désormais à Karma teachers, ainsi qu’en cours privés.
Passionnée par les problématiques environnementales, la nature, le bien être et l’envie de contribuer à un monde durable, elle poursuit ses deux métiers qu’elle considère dorénavant comme interdépendants et essentiels à son équilibre personnel et professionnel.


Fred Etanchaud, a professional musician, started practicing a Japanese martial art called Aïkido in 2008 in Paris and became black belt in 2011 under the leadership of Sensei Kenneth Williams, founder of the Ki-Federation of Great Britain. He taught his first Aïkido classes after passing his second dan in 2013. In 2014, he moved to Vancouver, BC where he was introduced to Yoga at Karma Teachers, a non-profit and free studio. As a volunteer and member of this community, he quickly offered a weekly ukulele class, then took his 200-hour Yoga teacher training and started to teach Yoga as well. He is currently working on creating YogAïkido classes, combining his two practices into a brand new discipline. Fred is passionate about the physical and psychic developments brought by energetic disciplines.

Fred Etanchaud, musicien de profession, a commencé l'Aïkido en 2008 à Paris et est devenu ceinture noire en 2011 sous la direction de Sensei Kenneth Williams fondateur de la “Ki-Federation of Great Britain”. Il a commencé à enseigner cet art martial après avoir passé son 2ème dan en 2013. Il a déménagé à Vancouver en 2014 où il a découvert le Yoga à Karma Teachers, studio de Yoga gratuit, auquel il contribue en offrant un cours de ukulélé hebdomadaire. Après y avoir suivi la formation de professeur de yoga, il enseigne aujourd’hui à Karma Teachers et élabore une nouvelle discipline le YogAïkido. Fred est passionné par les évolutions corporelles et psychiques qu’apportent les disciplines énergétiques.
